How To Blog or Not to Blog?

Oh my! Seriously.  I thought that this blogging thing would be easy because almost everybody does it right?  So how does one blog? Is there a right way or a wrong way?  Do you just rattle off what you want to vent about or is it about meaningful things that should impact someone's life?  I have no clue what I'm doing and I think half the people that blog don't either and the other half were born writing.  I guess you just do it and stop doubting yourself right?  So here's what I think about how to and not to.  I don't think that there's a right or wrong way.  No matter what you write about  someone is going to totally relate and someone will totally disagree or not get it.  The great think is this...if they don't like it they don't have to read it.  Insert a hip hip hooray and a happy dance!  The only thing that I know is that I'm going to try and keep things as real as possible because life isn't all about unicorns, rainbows, and sparkly glitter that descends from the heavens. Now, for some of you life may be all sunshine every single day and if that's you then I commend you.   For me, life is all about the unexpected curve balls that we've all experienced and the moments when we think the universe is out to get us.

Keeping it real is hard right?  Personally,  I think that's sexy.  To share with people that you aren't perfect and that you've got challenges in life makes me feel vulnerable but good in a weird way.  I feel good in a weird way because I know that someone out there will totally get it and now we have a crazy connection without even knowing each other.  Being a grown up can be such an amazing thing and other times I wish I was 17 before I had "real" responsibilities.  So I guess what I'm saying is that we blog about things that are important to us right?  So who will probably read my blogs?  I'm guessing and going to say the moms' that are out there.  Why?  Because I'm a mom.  So there's my next thing about how to blog that I figured out.  Who's your audience?

I'm going to say to  introduce yourself in your first blog just in case someone becomes hooked on your blogging...like binge watching your favorite TV show!  They might want to know who you are and rewind from the beginning.  Insert laugh here.  My name is Jeanette Stoneman and I'm a mom to 4 amazing kiddos and 2 of them are my step children.  I hate saying step (insert) cough someone may get offended if I didn't.  I've been married twice and cross my fingers that I will be married till the day I die to this second hubby because I really love him....like really love him.  I'm a busy mom...super busy.  I'm in the fitness industry, service industry and then I have this amazing side hustle.  REALLY.  This side hustle is freakin' awesome.  I have never in my life experienced meeting a group of women that are all about empowering one another.  For real. They are out there.  A tribe of women that are inspirational, positive leaders that truly want to help you become the BEST version of yourself.  I know...sounds far fetched right?  I never even knew people like that existed but they do.  I love people.  I love helping people and love believing in others more than they believe in themselves.  I hate mean people.  The kind that are intentional about it, makes me want to care bear stare them.  I hate crying for me but I will cry on the drop of a dime on sad and happy commercials, movies, stories that have wonderful endings, when I pray for others,  and the news.  I believe in GOD.  I really love me some Jesus. I'm not one of those Christians that will judge you if you don't, truly I won't. I curse, judge others and all those other things everyone else does but I just really do love me some Jesus.  That's me in a nutshell.

Blogging.  There's no right or wrong way.  Create connections and write about something that touches your heart because it will touch someone else's the same why it did when you began writing it.
